Recipe for dolci

500 gr corn flour
100 gr currants
100 gr pine nuts
100 gr walnuts
100 gr white almonds
100 gr dried figs
3 tbsp sugar
olive oil
salt and pepper


Soak the currants in lukewarm water for half an hour. Chop the almonds, walnuts and dried figs. Make a mound of the corn flour, with a hole in the middle. Ad a few tablespoons of olive oil, followed by the dry currants, the pine nuts, the chopped nuts, the sugar, and a little salt and pepper. Knead the mixture and gradually ad some boiling water until it forms a smooth mass. Form small cakes and place these on an oiled baking sheet. Bake light brown in a preheated oven at 150 °C. Serve cold.
